Korea GM announced on the 1st that it sold a total of 47,081 units in domestic and overseas markets this past May, a 5.9% decrease compared to the same month last year. Looking at the detailed performance, domestic sales stood at 808 units, down 42.6% year-on-year. Overseas sales amounted to 46,273 units, a 4.8% decrease. In overseas markets, the Chevrolet Trax Crossover sold 29,988 units, putting in a strong performance, while the Trailblazer recorded sales of 16,285 units. Gustavo Colossi, Vice President of Sales, Service, and Marketing at Korea GM, stated, "Following last year, the Chevrolet Trax Crossover has ranked first in domestic finished car exports for four consecutive months from January to April this year, continuing its positive momentum in the global market."
