The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has indicted Texas resident Nathan Fuller on charges of illegally raising approximately $12.3 million by deceiving investors with false promises of guaranteed high returns using an artificial intelligence (AI)-based trading bot. According to the SEC, Fuller attracted funds from approximately 150 investors between 2022 and 2024. Investigations revealed that he actively lured in investors with false advertising, claiming that depositing funds would guarantee returns of up to 100% or more within 21 to 45 days.
