Galaxy Digital Launches Custom Prediction Market OTC Trading Service for Institutional Investors

Galaxy Digital has newly launched an over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives trading service for prediction markets tailored for institutional investors.

Through this service, Galaxy Digital's Global Markets division plans to provide an environment for large-scale prediction market trades to institutional investors, such as hedge funds and family offices, which is difficult to offer on general platforms.

The trading targets cover a variety of events including sports events, as well as economic, political, and geopolitical trends, which are primarily traded on 'Kalshi' and 'Polymarket'. In addition, to allow clients to build comprehensive risk management strategies centered around a single event, it also provides a prediction market position hedging service utilizing stocks, commodities, and other assets.

Meanwhile, Galaxy Digital has already successfully completed its first inter-institutional trade. It previously executed a $10 million trade for the crypto hedge fund Arca regarding the outcome of the 'Clarity Bill'.
