[Breaking News] Waveis decides on new facility investment of 30.95 billion KRW... Expanding production capacity with a new factory

Waveis announced in a regulatory filing on the 5th that it has decided on a facility investment worth 30.95 billion KRW for the construction of a new headquarters and factory. This investment is being pursued with the aim of expanding production capacity by building a new headquarters and securing a foundation for future growth.

The investment amount accounts for 50.8% of the company's recent equity capital (60.92 billion KRW). The agenda was finalized at the board of directors meeting held on this day, attended by two outside directors and an auditor.

Looking at the detailed investment breakdown, 20.9 billion KRW will be allocated for the construction of the new factory, while 10.05 billion KRW will be invested in the cleanroom and utility construction of the new factory.

The construction schedule has also been specified. The construction work will take place from June 22, 2026, to April 30, 2027, while the cleanroom and utility work will be carried out from October 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027. The overall investment period is from June 22, 2026, to April 30, 2027.

The company explained that the investment amount was calculated based on the cost of the construction and ancillary works, excluding the cost of production equipment and machinery, construction-related public charges, and the land acquisition amount. The necessary funds are planned to be secured through internal funds and loans from financial institutions.

Additionally, Waveis added that the investment amount and investment period may change depending on future construction progress and changes in the internal and external business environment.
