Although LG Innotek has entered a short-term correction phase following its recent surge, it continues to attract high market interest due to expectations of benefiting from the expansion of the artificial intelligence (AI) industry. In particular, possibilities for cooperation in the AI and advanced manufacturing sectors have been raised on the occasion of NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang's visit to South Korea, drawing attention to related industry stocks.

According to the Korea Exchange on the 5th, LG Innotek closed trading at 1.16 million won, down 13,000 won (1.11%) from the previous trading day. During the session, it attempted a rally by rising to 1.242 million won, but surrendered some of its gains as selling volume increased. The trading value for the day exceeded 1 trillion won, while its market capitalization maintained a level of around 27.4 trillion won. This is evaluated as an indication that market interest remains high despite the short-term correction.

Recently, investors' attention has been focused on macroscopic changes across the entire AI industry rather than short-term earnings. During his visit to South Korea, CEO Jensen Huang emphasized that South Korea is a key country equipped with global manufacturing competitiveness, predicting that AI and robotics technologies will rapidly spread throughout the manufacturing sector. In particular, by holding consecutive meetings with the owners and executives of major domestic companies during his Seoul schedule, expectations for cooperation in AI infrastructure and next-generation industries have heightened. The industry anticipates that such cooperation will expand beyond semiconductors into various fields, including automotive electronic components, sensors, and smart factories.

LG Innotek, which focuses on optical solutions, semiconductor substrates, and automotive electronic component businesses, is also being mentioned as an indirect beneficiary of the growth in the autonomous driving, smart manufacturing, and high-performance sensor markets. This is due to expectations of increased demand for advanced components driven by the spread of 'Physical AI' advocated by NVIDIA and robotics technologies.

However, since there have been no new business contracts or official cooperation announcements between NVIDIA and LG Innotek to date, investors are placing more weight on the mid- to long-term potential for benefiting from the growth of the AI industry rather than immediate business linkages.

The stock's trajectory on the upcoming 8th is also expected to be influenced by these expectations and the overall mood of global tech stocks. As volatility in AI and semiconductor-related stocks has recently increased in the U.S. stock market, overseas market trends could significantly impact the investment sentiment for domestic tech stocks.

The securities industry evaluates that LG Innotek's competitiveness in optical and sensor technologies will play an important role in the AI era, while also analyzing that, in the short term, profit-taking sell orders and the potential expansion of market volatility must be monitored simultaneously. Market attention is focused on whether additional cooperation discussions will materialize following CEO Jensen Huang's visit and whether the trend of expanding AI investments will actually lead to improvements in corporate earnings. In the trading session on the 8th, these expectations and cautious sentiments will interplay to determine the stock's direction.
