Jeju Semiconductor (080220) is showing a powerful upward trend, with a Volatility Interruption (VI) mechanism triggered due to a sharp surge early in the trading session. As of 9:20 AM on the 17th, Jeju Semiconductor is trading at 108,600 won, up 7,400 won (7.31%) from the previous trading day. According to the Korea Exchange, a static VI was triggered at 9:17:52 AM that day and was lifted at 9:20 AM. Even after the VI was lifted, the stock continues its strong run, maintaining its gains in the 108,000-won range. Unlike the previous trading day (the 16th), when it closed down 3.44%, the stock dropped to 98,800 won intraday before successfully rebounding and surging. However, given that a VI was triggered, investors need to carefully monitor intraday supply and demand changes and whether the upward trend will continue.
