Artists under HYBE labels have achieved strong results in major global music markets, including the United States and Japan, in the first half of 2026, proving the competitiveness of their multi-label system.
According to the '2026 First Half-Year Chart' (tracking period: November 24, 2025 – May 24, 2026) released by Billboard Japan on the 5th, a staggering five albums by artists under HYBE made it into the Top 10 of the 'Top Album Sales' chart. BTS's 5th full-length album 'ARIRANG' proudly took 1st place, followed by &TEAM's 3rd mini album 'We on Fire' in 2nd, and ENHYPEN's 7th mini album 'THE SIN : VANISH' in 4th. In addition, a TOMORROW X TOGETHER album ranked 7th, and TWS's 'NO TRAGEDY' ranked 10th, showcasing their influence in the Japanese market.
In particular, the leap of &TEAM, a localized Japanese group, to 2nd place is evaluated as a representative success case of the 'multi-home, multi-genre' strategy led by Chairman Bang Si-hyuk. It achieved meaningful results by successfully transplanting the K-pop production system locally.
HYBE artists also wielded immense power in the United States, the world's largest music market. On the U.S. Billboard's main album chart, the 'Billboard 200,' BTS's 'ARIRANG' took 1st place, followed by ENHYPEN in 2nd, and TOMORROW X TOGETHER and CORTIS in 3rd, respectively. Subsequently, LE SSERAFIM ranked 10th, ILLIT ranked 26th, and &TEAM ranked 52nd, while SEVENTEEN's Dokyeom X Seungkwan's 1st mini album also entered at 195th.
HYBE has continuously strengthened the unique color and production capabilities of each label through the operation of independent multi-labels. Simultaneously achieving massive success with multiple albums in both the United States and Japan is a result that proves the perfect success of this strategy.
