Miyeon of the group (G)I-DLE shared her thoughts on being appointed as a 'Climate Action Ambassador'.

To commemorate Environment Day, Miyeon appeared on KBS2's 'The Seasons - Sung Si-kyung's Boyfriend of the Eardrums', which aired on the 12th. On this day, she appeared as the close friend of Urban Zakapa's Jo Hyun-ah, showcasing their exceptional friendship. Miyeon recalled that she gained great strength when she met Jo Hyun-ah while participating as a guest vocalist at a Canadian performance before her debut.

Recently appointed as a Climate Action Ambassador, Miyeon explained, "Singing the campaign song led to me taking on the role of ambassador." She continued, "I am glad to be part of a meaningful occasion to celebrate Environment Day," and received applause from the audience as she stated, "I am practicing things in my daily life, such as unplugging outlets before going out and using tumblers."

Additionally, Miyeon proved her vocal skills by performing her solo song live as a recommended track for a summer night.

Meanwhile, (G)I-DLE, the group Miyeon belongs to, will hold their fourth world tour concert in Singapore on the 13th. Ahead of the release of their 9th mini-album on July 6th, they will begin their comeback activities by releasing a pre-release track on the 15th of this month.
