The Korea Exchange has designated Woori Technology as an investment caution stock due to a sharp change in its closing price.

According to a disclosure on the 12th, the Korea Exchange designated Woori Technology as an "investment caution stock (closing price sharp change stock)" for one day, effective June 15, 2026.

Woori Technology closed at 17,570 won, up 26.59% from the previous trading day's closing price of 13,880 won. The day's trading volume was 5,749,201 shares, of which the closing price trading volume ratio reached 23.79%. In particular, institutional investors' account participation rate during the closing price formation process was tallied at 99.43%, drawing close scrutiny.

This designation was made because all three conditions were met: the closing price changed by 5% or more compared to the most recent price; the closing price trading volume accounted for 5% or more of the day's total trading volume; and the day's total trading volume was at least 30,000 shares.

However, the number of times the stock had been designated as an investment caution stock for the same reason within the most recent 5 and 15 trading days was zero each, making this an unusual movement.

The Korea Exchange designates stocks requiring investor attention as investment caution stocks, investment warning stocks, and investment risk stocks, in that order, through its market alert system. At the investment warning and investment risk stock stages, trading may be suspended.
