On the morning of the 15th, the stock price of Woori Technology (032820) plunged in the KOSDAQ market, triggering a Volatility Intervention (VI) mechanism. The stock failed to extend its upper-limit rally from the previous trading day and shifted to a sharp downward trend in just one day.

According to the Korea Exchange, a static VI was triggered for Woori Technology in the KRX KOSDAQ market at 9:15:52 a.m. on the same day and was lifted at 9:18:12 a.m.

As of 9:33 a.m., Woori Technology's stock was trading at 15,210 won, down 2,360 won (13.43%) from the previous trading day, slipping below the 15,000-won level. A sell-off trend has been clearly evident since the opening of the market.

Previously, Woori Technology closed at the upper price limit on the 12th, recovering the 17,000-won level. Having now entered a correction phase, whether the stock can curb further declines and rebound is seen as the key factor for its future price trajectory.

Meanwhile, both the KOSPI and the broader KOSDAQ market maintained a strong upward trend at the same time, rising more than 5%.
