Actors Kang Tae-oh and Won Ji-an have been confirmed as co-MCs for 'KMA 2026,' set to take place on July 25, and will team up to host the event.

Taking on the role of MC at a K-pop awards ceremony for the first time since his debut, Kang Tae-oh has built a solid fanbase through dramas such as 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo' and 'At Eighteen.' He is expected to bring energy to the ceremony with his signature quick wit and humor. Won Ji-an, who has caught the attention of global audiences through Netflix's 'Squid Game' and Disney+'s 'Made in Korea,' also plans to deliver polished hosting with a calm yet bright energy.

Meanwhile, 'KMA (KM Chart Awards) 2026' has been heightening anticipation for the festival by confirming its MCs following the reveal of a spectacular artist lineup of 15 teams, including TXT, P1Harmony, Hi-Fi Un!corn, ZEROBASEONE, 82MAJOR, UNIS, VVUP, KICKFLIP, Hearts2Hearts, NewBeat, ALLDAY PROJECT, CORTIS, AlphaDrive One, Longshot, and Modisay.

Organized by KM Chart and KM Chart World, and hosted by the KMA Organizing Committee and UPICK, this awards ceremony is a music festival for the artists who have lit up the music industry over the past year and their fans. It will be held grandly on July 25 at the Hwajeong Gymnasium at Korea University in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul.
