Choi Sunghoon of the crossover group LA POEM will hold a solo recital this coming July.

His agency, Drama House, revealed the concert poster on the 22nd and announced that Choi Sunghoon will hold his solo recital, 'Recital: Avec,' on July 11 at 2:00 PM at the IBK Chamber Hall of the Seoul Arts Center. This performance holds special significance as it marks Choi Sunghoon's first solo recital at the Seoul Arts Center.

True to its title 'Avec,' which means 'together' in French, this stage will feature collaborations with various instruments to capture deep musical resonance.

The concert will be structured with diverse configurations across different parts. In the first part, he will present elegant Baroque music alongside a Baroque ensemble. In the second part, he will collaborate with instruments such as the harp, violin, accordion, and piano to deliver a stage centered around French chanson. Choi Sunghoon's rich musical experiences and sensibilities, cultivated during his studies in Europe, including France and Switzerland, are expected to be woven throughout the performance.

Choi Sunghoon has been actively communicating with audiences by consistently selling out all seats for his solo concert brand, the 'Movement' series, and recently successfully wrapped up LA POEM's solo concert. Through this upcoming recital, he plans to demonstrate an even deeper musical world as a countertenor beyond his group activities.
