SK Square (402340) plunged alone amid a broader market rally, triggering a Volatility Interruption (VI) during morning trading on the 24th.

According to the Korea Exchange, SK Square's static VI was triggered at 10:09:09 a.m. and lifted at 10:11:24 a.m.

As of 10:13 a.m., SK Square is trading at 1,702,000 won, down 130,000 won (7.10%) from the previous trading day. During the session, the stock briefly fell below the 1,700,000-won level, indicating shrinking investor sentiment.

Meanwhile, the overall market atmosphere is relatively positive. At the same time, the KOSPI rose by 183.46 points (2.23%) to 2,638.81 from the previous day, and the KOSDAQ climbed 12.98 points (1.45%) to 904.50, with both major indices showing strength.

SK Square's weakness despite the market's upward trend is interpreted as the result of overlapping profit-taking sell-offs and supply-demand pressures on the individual stock. The VI activation has also heightened caution about expanding short-term volatility.

Investors are closely watching how future changes in trading volume and trends will impact the stock's trajectory.
