Hwang Young Woong is demonstrating an overwhelming presence in the Male Singer category of the June 2026 Netizen Awards. As of 6:19 PM on the 15th, Hwang Young Woong recorded 30,605 votes (39.7%), becoming the first to join the '30,000 club.'
Chungil trails in second place with 7,957 votes (10.3%), followed by Son Tae Jin in third with 7,158 votes (9.3%). Jang Min Ho sits in fourth place with 6,853 votes (8.9%), while the upper-tier competition continues in the order of Jin Won (3,470 votes), Enoch (2,964 votes), Park Ji Hyun (2,784 votes), Seo Young Taek (2,651 votes), Jung Dong Won (2,538 votes), and Song Min Jun (2,407 votes).
It is noteworthy that in this June vote, which serves as the first-half finals, Hwang Young Woong has maintained a stable trend by opening up a large gap from the early stages. Amid fans' steady participation, the 'final vote count' rather than simply defending the lead has emerged as a new focus of interest.
Hwang Young Woong previously proved his formidable fandom power with 78,562 votes in March. However, in the subsequent months of April and May, he failed to surpass the 70,000-vote mark consecutively. Although he reached the top in the Male Singer category in May with 64,109 votes, he fell short of 70,000.
For this reason, attention is focused on whether fans can help Hwang recover his spot in the '70,000 club' for the first time in three months in these June finals. As voting passes the midpoint, it remains to be seen whether Hwang Young Woong will defend his lead to the very end and write yet another record.
