The group CLOSE YOUR EYES has won the Rookie Award at the '35th Seoul Music Awards,' setting a monumental record as the first male idol group debuted in 2025 to achieve nine rookie awards.

At the awards ceremony held on January 20 at Inspire Arena in Incheon, the members expressed their gratitude to their fandom 'CLOSER.' In their acceptance speech, they said, 'We will continuously strive to grow into even more amazing artists and receive much love.'

With this Seoul Music Awards Rookie Award, CLOSE YOUR EYES has now secured a total of nine rookie titles, following previous wins at the K World Dream Awards, Brand of the Year Awards, The Fact Music Awards, TikTok Awards, Korea Grand Music Awards, Korea Culture and Entertainment Awards, Golden Disc Awards, and THE AWARDS. This marks the most rookie awards won by a male idol group that debuted in 2025.

On stage that day, they captivated the audience with a 007 concept performance. After performing stages for their title tracks 'POSE' and 'X,' they flawlessly delivered cover stages of EXO's 'Overdose' and H.O.T.'s 'We Are the Future,' proving their versatility across a wide range of genres.

Meanwhile, having set the record of nine rookie awards, CLOSE YOUR EYES will hold a North American tour this October, ramping up their global activities.
