Actress Nam Ji-hyun and LE SSERAFIM's Wonhee will team up as MCs for the first day of the 3rd Korea Grand Music Awards (2026 KGMA). According to the KGMA Organizing Committee on the 10th, the two will host the first day of the '2026 KGMA,' scheduled to be held on November 7 and 8 at Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro-gu, Seoul. The committee expressed anticipation that the two, as artists representing K-pop and fandoms, will do an excellent job of leading the award ceremony.

Consequently, starting with the first ceremony in 2024, Nam Ji-hyun will host the KGMA for three consecutive years. Nam Ji-hyun has consistently received praise for her stable hosting skills. Following her performances in the dramas 'Good Partner' and 'My Beloved Thief,' she is gearing up for the release of her upcoming project 'May I Be Excused.'

Wonhee, who will join as an MC, debuted in March 2024 as a member of the group LE SSERAFIM and has engaged in various musical activities. She is currently receiving public love by showcasing her approachable charm through her personal YouTube channel. Her group, LE SSERAFIM, continues to maintain an upward trajectory, having been selected as promotional ambassadors for Geoje-si and gearing up for a comeback this July.

Meanwhile, the KGMA, hosted by Ilgan Sports, was established in 2024 to present a new paradigm for the South Korean popular music industry and marks its third anniversary this year. Artists who have been active in various popular music genres, including K-pop, bands, and trot, will make a full appearance at this award ceremony to deliver highly polished performances.

The '2026 KGMA' is hosted by Ilgan Sports and co-organized by Creatorling, Quickwin Studio, and the KGMA Organizing Committee. The official fan voting will take place on the Fancast app. The lineup of artists, award categories, and the MC for the second day are scheduled to be revealed sequentially in the future.
