In the Male Singer category of the 2026 Netizen Awards first half finals, singer Chungil is firmly maintaining his top ranking, proving his unrivaled fan support.

According to the vote tally as of 5:21 p.m. on the 8th, Chungil secured 2nd place with 4,052 votes (a 9.8% vote rate). He has formed an independent support base by surpassing 4,000 votes. Even amid the dominant lead of Hwang Youngwoong, who is currently racing at an overwhelming 1st place with 16,467 votes, Chungil is defending his 2nd place spot and showcasing the underlying strength of his fandom.

The ranking competition is also fierce. Chungil is engaged in a close race with Son Taejin, who has recorded 3,905 votes, with only a 147-vote difference between them, creating palpable tension. This is a moment where the cohesiveness of Chungil's fandom, which has consistently demonstrated strong voting power in the Netizen Awards every month, shines once again.

Currently, the top ranks of the Male Singer category are being led by Hwang Youngwoong, Chungil, Son Taejin, and Jang Minho. They are followed closely by Jinwon, Enoch, Park Jihyun, Seo Youngtaek, and Jung Dongwon, continuing the fierce battle for the rankings.

The voting for this month, which is proceeding as the first half finals of 2026, will continue until the end of June. Fans' keen attention is focused on whether Chungil will perfectly defend his 2nd place spot during the remaining period and how much he will narrow the gap with the 1st place Hwang Youngwoong.
