AP Satellite announced on the 25th that it has signed a contract with LIG D&A for the development of an onboard computer for a geostationary orbit weather and space weather satellite.

The total value of this contract is 9.5 billion won (9,500,000,000 won). This is a significant amount, equivalent to 19.8% of the company's most recent revenue (47,812,373,057 won), which is based on the financial statements as of December 31, 2025.

The contract was signed on June 24, 2026, and the contract period runs from June 24 of the same year through May 21, 2028. The products will be supplied through in-house production within South Korea.

Under the contract terms, a down payment and advance payment will be made, with the advance payment scheduled to be deposited within seven business days from the contract date.
