The Netmarble rowing team achieved the impressive feat of winning a total of 21 medals, including 12 gold, 7 silver, and 2 bronze, at the '2026 Seoul Mayor's Cup National Disabled Rowing Competition'.

Held over two days on the 29th and 30th of last month at the Misa Rowing Stadium in Misa Regatta Park, the competition was hosted by the Seoul Sports Association for the Disabled and jointly organized by the Seoul Rowing Federation for the Disabled and the Korean Rowing Federation for the Disabled. The event was divided into a total of 17 disciplines across water and indoor events, categorized by men's, women's, mixed, and types of disability.

The outstanding individual achievements of the team at this competition are as follows: • Kang I-sung: 2 Gold, 1 Bronze • Kang Hyun-joo: 3 Gold • Bae Ji-in: 1 Gold, 2 Silver • Lee Bong-hee: 1 Gold, 1 Silver, 1 Bronze • Jun Seung-bo: 1 Gold, 1 Silver • Chu Yeon-hee: 2 Gold, 1 Silver • Han Eun-ji: 1 Gold, 1 Silver • Lee Seung-joo: 1 Silver • Seo Ha-kyung (Cox): 1 Gold

There were also abundant results in individual awards. Athlete Han Eun-ji was selected as the MVP for the indoor events, while athletes Kang I-sung and Kang Hyun-joo received the Outstanding Athlete Award. Kang I-sung mentioned that he was able to focus entirely on his rehabilitation after an injury, expressing great joy at achieving such good results this year.

Meanwhile, the Netmarble Cultural Foundation has been continuously engaged in activities to promote disabled sports, support independence, and expand social participation since founding the disabled rowing team in 2019, a first for the gaming industry. The team previously proved its potential by winning 12 medals at the '45th National Disabled Sports Games' held in November of last year.
