Coinbase Ventures, the venture investment arm of Coinbase, the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the United States, announced that it has purchased Ethena (ENA) on the open market.

Coinbase Ventures shared the news via its official X (formerly Twitter) account, but did not disclose the specific scale of the purchase.

Regarding this purchase, Coinbase Ventures expressed strong expectations for the Ethena project, adding, "Ethena is a key player in on-chain finance, and we have high expectations regarding a closer partnership with Coinbase and USDC."
