Blockchain tracker EmberCN reported via X (formerly Twitter) that a small test transfer of Bitcoin from a Mt. Gox-related address to the Bitstamp exchange was detected.

According to reports, the Mt. Gox address transferred 116.3 BTC (approximately $8.25 million) from a cold wallet to a hot wallet about two hours ago, followed by a test transfer of 0.000017 BTC to Bitstamp. Given Mt. Gox's past transfer patterns, there are observations that it is highly likely the 116.3 BTC moved to the hot wallet will be additionally transferred to Bitstamp in the future.

Meanwhile, it was identified that the total Bitcoin balance currently held by Mt. Gox stands at 34,500 BTC (approximately $2.39 billion).
