Hadong-gun in Gyeongnam is a place where the clear winds of Jirisan and the blue waves of the Seomjingang River intersect, embracing hundreds of years of history. Hadong, which has been a transportation hub and rich in products since ancient times, boasts beautiful natural scenery and diverse cultural heritage, offering a special charm to visitors.

Ssanggyesa Temple It is a temple founded in the 21st year of King Seongdeok of Silla by the monk Sambeop, who brought the relics of Huineng, the Sixth Patriarch of Chinese Buddhist Seon (Zen). In the 2nd year of King Munseong's reign (840), it was named 'Okcheonsa' by the Seon master Hyeso of Jingam, and was renamed 'Ssanggyesa' in the 2nd year of King Jeonggang. In particular, it is famous as a cherry blossom spot, and attractions include the Ssanggyeseokmun stone gate, which is the handwritten work of scholar Choe Chiwon, the Daegongtapbi Stele of Seon Master Jingam, and the Bulil Falls. In addition, as the birthplace of tea, it holds a deep history with tea cups.

Samseongung (Cheonghakdong Do-in Village) Located in the valley of Cheonghakdong Do-in Village, Samseongung is a place that restored the Sodo of the Gojoseon era. It is a sacred site where practitioners, centered around the ascetic Hanpul, preserve Seondo and practice Suseon-do, continuing the traditional ascetic practices of erecting a Sotdae (a wooden bird pole) and cultivating fields. Visitors can wear Goguryeo-style Daoist robes, tour the inside of the palace, and catch a glimpse of the old lifestyle of hermits and the lives of practitioners.

Hwagae Market It is a traditional market formed at the point where Hwagaecheon, originating from Jirisan, meets the Seomjingang River. With the establishment of a permanent market, the atmosphere of the past has diminished somewhat, but it is still overflowing with vitality as the foundation of life for local residents. In particular, the scenery of the market harmonized with cherry blossoms in spring is spectacular, and local foods such as marsh clam soup and sweetfish sashimi captivate the visitors' palates.

Stayway Hadong Skywalk The Skywalk, built 150m above the water surface of the Seomjingang River, is an observation spot where you can take in the Pyeongsari field and the Seomjingang River at a glance. A 20m-high star-shaped structure provides a unique spectacle, making it a great place to take photos of a lifetime with the Pyeongsari field and the ridgeline of Jirisan in the background. Inside, there is a rest area where you can enjoy a relaxing time while drinking tea.
