KATSEYE Re-enters Billboard 'Hot 100'... Effect of Winning 3 Awards at the AMAs + Sold-Out World Tour

Girl group KATSEYE has re-entered the Billboard 'Hot 100,' the main U.S. chart, showcasing its global popularity.

According to the latest chart released by Billboard (dated June 6), KATSEYE's single 'PINKY UP' re-entered the 'Hot 100' at number 92. With this, the song has successfully charted for a total of six weeks. The highest rank for 'PINKY UP' on the Hot 100 is 28th, recorded this past April.

The strong performance continued on the global and album charts. 'PINKY UP' rebounded to 111th on the 'Global 200,' while 'Gabriela,' released last year, also ranked 156th. In the album category, their second EP 'BEAUTIFUL CHAOS' ranked 110th on the 'Billboard 200,' achieving an impressive 48 consecutive weeks on the chart. Their debut EP 'SIS' also re-entered at 141st.

This reverse climb on the charts is analyzed as the effect of their recent wins at the '2026 American Music Awards (AMA).' KATSEYE took home three awards at the ceremony, winning 'New Artist of the Year,' 'Breakthrough Pop Artist,' and 'Best Music Video.' The video of their live performance at the award ceremony recorded first place on YouTube's 'Music Trending Worldwide Chart,' gathering significant attention.

The global success is continuing into their world tour. The North American and European tour (THE WILDWORLD Tour), which begins this coming September, was completely sold out within 48 hours of ticket sales opening. As a result, four additional performances were added in major cities including London and Los Angeles. Ultimately, a total of 31 performances will be held across 27 cities in 10 countries.

KATSEYE, born from a joint venture between HYBE and Geffen Records, has firmly established itself in the global market within just two years of debut, based on the K-pop system. They are scheduled to release their third EP, 'WILD,' this coming August.
