The group XLOV has proven its steep growth trajectory by breaking its own first-week sales record with their 2nd mini album.
According to the album sales tracking site Hanteo Chart, the first-week sales of XLOV's (Umuti, Rui, Hyun, Haru) 2nd mini album 'I,God', tallied from May 27 to June 2, recorded 224,291 copies. This marks their first first-week sales to surpass 200,000 copies since debut, representing an approximately 163% increase compared to the first-week sales of their previous work, the 1st mini album 'UXLXVE' (85,155 copies).
This album, 'I,God', is a work that expresses inner completeness by comparing it to a 'god'. Member Umuti took on direct producing, while Hyun and Haru participated in writing the lyrics for the b-sides, adding musical authenticity.
The music chart performance is also impressive. All tracks, excluding the intro and instrumental versions, entered the Bugs real-time chart, showing strong results. The title track 'SERVE', which stands out for its bold musical attempt, is gathering buzz with its vogueing performance. The music video starring actress Han So-hee has surpassed 2 million views, drawing the attention of global fans.
Having successfully fired the starting gun for their comeback, XLOV plans to continue their active promotions through music shows and web content in the future.
