Group Cross Gene is returning to the music industry after approximately six years.

According to their agency Amuse Entertainment, Cross Gene will release their new single 'Helicopter' on the 8th at 12:00 PM through various online music sites. This single includes a total of two tracks: the title track of the same name, 'Helicopter', and 'Helicopter (O.C remix)'. In particular, member Shin Won-ho directly participated in writing, composing, and producing the song, adding sincerity to the track.

The concept photos previously released through their official SNS reinterpreted their debut era image. By connecting the starting point of the past and the changes of the present into a single narrative flow, it visually captured the team's storyline.

The new song 'Helicopter' contains the desire of members Shin Won-ho and Yongseok to reunite with the fans who have waited for them for a long time. Using the hovering movement of a helicopter as a metaphor, it illustrates recurring emotions and intersecting gazes, expressing the complex feelings of not wanting to let go but being unable to easily reach out through a sensuous sound.
