The results of the May monthly chart for the global K-pop chart, KM Chart, have been revealed. According to the announcement on the KM Chart's official website, Kortis's 'REDRED' took first place in the music category, K-MUSIC. Following the track, Plave, Illit, AKMU, Im Youngwoong, BTS, Choi Yena, Jin (BTS), and Hearts2Hearts ranked within the top 10.
In the artist category, BTS defended its throne, continuing from last month. AKMU followed in second place, Im Youngwoong in third, while Plave, Illit, BLACKPINK, and Tomorrow X Together ranked in the top tier.
In the popularity category, HOT CHOICE, BTS's V took first place in the male division, followed by Im Youngwoong, Lee Chanwon, Jimin, Jin, and Jungkook. In the female division, Babymonster took the top spot, while Dreamcatcher, TWICE, Hearts2Hearts, and Exin decorated the top 10.
In the rookie category, ROOKIE, Kortis secured first place in the male division, following its win in the music category. Alphadrayv One, Longshot, Modisey, and Ahop subsequently ranked on the chart. In the female division, Hades reached the top, while Kiki, If I, and At Heart formed the top rankings.
Meanwhile, based on these chart results, 'KMA 2026' will be held at Hwajeong Gymnasium, Korea University in Seoul on July 25. A large number of K-pop artists active domestically and internationally, including Tomorrow X Together, P1Harmony, ZeroBaseOne, and Kortis, are scheduled to attend the awards ceremony.
