Rookie actor Yushin has been cast as the lead in the school thriller short-form drama 'Save Us'.

Yushin plays the protagonist, Hyeong-o, leading the narrative in 'Save Us', which will exclusively premiere all episodes on the Lezhin Snack platform on the 4th at 5:00 PM. Based on the webtoon of the same name by author 1230, 'Save Us' tells the story of Hyeong-o, who suffers from school violence, and Seo-yeon, a transfer student who reaches out to him. The drama is directed by Lee Won-jae, who participated in the screenwriting for the films 'The Outlaws' and 'Veteran 2', heralding the birth of a tension-filled school thriller.

Hyeong-o, played by Yushin, is a high school student who, after becoming paralyzed from the lower half of his body due to a traffic accident, suffers cruel bullying from a group of school bullies called 'Geumsu'. After meeting Seo-yeon, a transfer student in a similar situation, he gains hope and meticulously prepares for revenge against his attackers to keep a promise he made to her. Yushin is expected to delicately portray the complex inner workings of a character who transforms into a cold-blooded avenger amid physical limitations and a harsh reality.

Debuting in the 2014 film 'Loop', Yushin has expanded his acting spectrum through various works, including the dramas 'My Partner is a Demon', 'Red Monster: Revenge Against the Devil', and 'Lies, Where Are the Vampires?'. Following his appearance in singer BIBI's music video, he is currently active in the entertainment program 'The Scout', drawing attention across multiple fields.

The short-form drama 'Save Us', featuring actor Yushin's new transformation, will release all episodes simultaneously today (the 4th) at 5:00 PM on Lezhin Snack.
