Public attention is focused after a safety advisory text message was sent out indicating that airplane noise may occur in the areas of Gangnam and Songpa districts in Seoul.

According to the Seoul Metropolitan Government on the 5th, the city sent a safety advisory text message at 9:00 a.m. on the same day, stating, "Airplane noise may occur in the areas of Gangnam and Songpa districts between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. today due to flight (training) for a Memorial Day-related event."

This advisory was issued due to aircraft flight training being conducted as part of preparations for the Memorial Day commemorative ceremony. The city sent the text message to notify citizens in advance that louder-than-usual airplane noise may be heard during this time.

The expected time for the noise occurrence is from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on the same day. However, the actual timing and intensity of the noise may vary slightly depending on the training conditions.
