■ Middle East Situation as a Variable... Markets on High Alert Over 'Memorandum of Understanding to End War'

The market remains on high alert regarding variables in the Middle East situation.

Reuters, citing a senior Iranian official, reported that the final draft of a memorandum of understanding to end the U.S.-Iran war includes the immediate opening of the Strait of Hormuz.

However, as Israel carried out airstrikes on the southern outskirts of Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, on the 14th (local time), Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stated via his X (formerly Twitter) account that negotiations with the United States cannot continue. With war-related issues showing no signs of cooling down, attention is focused on future developments.
