PanGen announced on the 22nd that it has won a research service contract from the National Institute of Health under the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency for the development of therapeutic antibodies for Severe Fever with Thrombocytopenia Syndrome (SFTS).

The project is titled 'Advancement and Evaluation of a Non-clinical Sample Production System for SFTS Therapeutic Antibodies.' PanGen's confirmed contract amount is KRW 2,745,450,000, equivalent to 20.46% of its revenue (KRW 13,416,630,000) as of the end of last year.

The contracting party is the National Institute of Health under the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency, and the contract period runs from June 22, 2026, to December 31, 2028. PanGen will be responsible for optimizing the antibody production process and producing non-clinical samples for this project.

The annual contract amounts are KRW 1,081,820,000 for the first year, KRW 1,081,820,000 for the second year, and KRW 581,820,000 for the third year. Within 30 days of contract execution, PanGen may request an advance payment of KRW 757,270,000 (excluding VAT), which is 70% of the first-year amount, with subsequent payments to be made annually.

This contract amount represents PanGen's 77.44% share of the total contract value of approximately KRW 3,545,000,000 (excluding VAT).
