The Korea Exchange announced that Level 1 of the Circuit Breaker was triggered as the KOSDAQ Composite Index fell by more than 8% compared to the previous day's closing price as of 2:36:52 p.m. on the 8th.

According to the disclosure, the KOSDAQ Composite Index recorded 921.85 points on this day, plunging by 80.59 points (8.03%) compared to the previous day's closing price (1,002.44 points). As the index maintained a drop of more than 8% from the previous day's closing price for one minute, trading in the KOSDAQ market was completely suspended for 20 minutes.

The exchange also presented the conditions for subsequent phased triggers in preparation for further declines. If the KOSDAQ Composite Index falls by more than 15% compared to the previous day's closing price, and the state of an additional drop of more than 1% from the Level 1 trigger index continues for one minute, a Level 2 Circuit Breaker will be triggered, suspending trading again for 20 minutes.

Afterward, if it falls by more than 20% compared to the previous day's closing price following the Level 2 trigger, and the state of an additional drop of more than 1% from the Level 2 trigger index continues for one minute, a Level 3 Circuit Breaker will be triggered, and all trading in the KOSDAQ market for the day will be completely terminated.

This measure is in accordance with Article 26 of the KOSDAQ Market Business Regulations and Article 31 of the Enforcement Rules of the same regulations.
