BTS's 'SWIM' No. 1 on Billboard Global for 4 Consecutive Weeks... Monumental Record of 8th Overall Chart-Topper

BTS continues their unparalleled streak, continuously breaking records on the U.S. Billboard charts with 'SWIM,' the title track from their 5th full-length album 'ARIRANG'.

According to the latest chart released by Billboard (dated June 6), BTS's 'SWIM' took the No. 1 spot on the 'Global (excluding the U.S.)' chart for the fourth consecutive week. With this, BTS has now secured their eighth overall No. 1 song on this chart, setting a monumental record that is twice the record of four No. 1 songs set by Bad Bunny and Taylor Swift. Additionally, they tied the all-time longest-running No. 1 record previously held by 'Dynamite,' released in 2020, extending their record for the most No. 1s into 2026. The 13 tracks from this album also demonstrated their lasting popularity by remaining on the chart for 10 consecutive weeks.

The group has also achieved notable results on the detailed charts. 'SWIM' recorded 4th place on the 'Global 200' chart, rising 6 spots from the previous week, and climbed 11 spots to 44th on the main singles chart, the 'Hot 100'. They also showed strong performance on radio-related charts, ranking 17th on 'Adult Contemporary', 13th on 'Pop Airplay', 18th on 'Adult Pop Airplay', and 25th on 'Radio Songs'.

The album 'ARIRANG' also proved its formidable power. The album ranked 9th on the main album chart, the 'Billboard 200', maintaining its spot in the 'Top 10' for 10 consecutive weeks, while also recording 4th on 'Top Album Sales', 18th on 'Top Streaming Albums', and 6th on 'Vinyl Albums'. In particular, their previously released 'MIC Drop' made a surprise re-entry onto the 'World Digital Song Sales' chart, setting a monumental record of spending a total of 164 weeks on the chart.

BTS's dazzling activities will continue in the future. On September 18, they are scheduled to appear at the '2026 iHeartRadio Music Festival', held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, USA. This festival, which features world-renowned artists such as Cardi B and Snoop Dogg, will be broadcast live via radio stations across the United States, as well as live-streamed through Disney+ and Hulu.

Previously, on the 25th of last month, BTS won the grand prize 'Artist of the Year' at the American Music Awards, a major U.S. popular music awards ceremony. A large-scale event for domestic fans is also scheduled. On the upcoming 12th and 13th, they will host 'BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG' IN BUSAN' at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium to commemorate their 13th debut anniversary with their fans.
