The band Dragon Pony (Ahn Tae-gyu, Pyeon Seong-hyeon, Kwon Se-hyeok, Go Kang-hoon) has begun their full-fledged global endeavors by pre-releasing a single that marks the beginning of their expansion into Japan.
Dragon Pony released the title track "Run to Win" from their first Japanese EP, "Run to Run," via various music streaming sites at midnight on the 3rd. "Run to Win" is a song containing a bold message about moving forward toward a higher stage, using past hardships and experiences as a stepping stone. It is characterized by a driving beat and lyrics that express an intense ambition toward a goal. It is the track that best represents the direction of their Japanese debut album, which is slated for official release on the 10th.
This album includes a total of five tracks: the title track, "Stand Together," "One Light, One Time," "Break the Chain," and "Look Back." In particular, "Break the Chain" was previously pre-released during solo concerts in Seoul and Taiwan, garnering an enthusiastic response from global fans.
As a self-producing band where all members handle lyric writing, composing, and arranging, Dragon Pony plans to imprint their unique musical identity by showcasing even more intense energy and deepened musical capabilities through this album.
Along with the music release, new profile images capturing the rock spirit were also unveiled via their official social media accounts, drawing attention.
Having joined hands with Warner Music Japan for their debut, Dragon Pony is scheduled to officially release their first Japanese EP, "Run to Run," on the 10th. Following the release, they will meet with local fans by holding their solo tour, "Dragon Pony 2026 Run To Run Japan Tour," in Tokyo on the 17th and Osaka on the 21st.
