Dongbu Construction has been selected as the winning bidder for the 'Jecheon~Yeongwol Expressway Construction Section 2' project commissioned by Korea Expressway Corporation, securing a contract worth approximately 176.8 billion won.

According to Dongbu Construction on the 17th, the company received the winning bidder notification from Korea Expressway Corporation on the same day and disclosed the matter. The contract amount is 176.86 billion won (excluding VAT, based on Dongbu Construction's share). This accounts for approximately 10.06% of Dongbu Construction's consolidated revenue from the previous year (1,758,625,710,036 won).

The company explained that the contract amount excludes value-added tax, and the final amount will be determined upon the signing of the contract. It also stated that relevant details may change during the course of the project, and finalized details will be disclosed again upon the signing of the main contract.
