HJ Heavy Industries has been selected as the winning bidder for the 'Construction of Jecheon–Yeongwol Expressway (Section 3)' project commissioned by the Korea Expressway Corporation.

According to HJ Heavy Industries' disclosure on the 17th, the total winning bid amount for this project is 212,558,721,699 won (excluding value-added tax). Of this, the amount corresponding to HJ Heavy Industries' 70% stake is 148,791,105,189 won. This represents 7.44% of HJ Heavy Industries' revenue (1,999,705,307,561 won) based on its consolidated financial statements as of the end of 2025.

The project section connects Jajak-dong, Jecheon-si, Chungcheongbuk-do to Daejeon-ri, Eosangcheon-myeon, Danyang-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do. The main construction work includes building a 6.40 km, 23.4 m-wide, four-lane (two lanes in each direction) expressway, with detailed works encompassing five bridges, one tunnel, and drainage installations.

The date of confirmation of receipt of the winning bidder notification from the Korea Expressway Corporation is June 17, 2026. However, the details of this award may be subject to change during the process of concluding the main contract, and the finalized details will be disclosed separately upon the final contract execution.
