Hanshin Public Works has been finally selected as the successful bidder for the construction of 'Section 5 of the Jecheon-Yeongwol Expressway National Highway,' a project commissioned by Korea Expressway Corporation.

According to Hanshin Public Works on the 17th, the company received official notification from Korea Expressway Corporation on the same day that it had been chosen as the winning bidder following the final comprehensive evaluation. The expected contract amount for Hanshin Public Works in this project is 172,657,846,826 won (excluding value-added tax). This figure represents 15.0% of the company's consolidated revenue (1,149,191,208,443 won) from the previous year.

The total project cost set by the client, Korea Expressway Corporation, amounts to 215,822,308,532 won. Hanshin Public Works holds an 80% stake in this consortium, and the previously disclosed expected contract amount corresponds to Hanshin Public Works' share.

Hanshin Public Works stated that it will make a further disclosure of the confirmed details upon signing the main contract, and that some aspects may be subject to change during the course of the project.
