Woowa Brothers announced on the 2nd that it has expanded the number of brands where KakaoTalk Gift vouchers can be used within the Baemin app from the previous six to ten. The four newly added brands are Compose Coffee, Dunkin', Pascucci, and Shake Shack. With this expansion, the number of stores accepting the vouchers has increased from approximately 8,000 to 11,000. The previously accepted brands were Yoa Jeong, Paris Baguette, Baskin Robbins, Dujjim, Lotteria, and Tous Les Jours. Baemin introduced the KakaoTalk voucher usage feature for the first time in the delivery platform industry in September of last year, and it is currently only available on the Baemin app. Users can register vouchers received via KakaoTalk in the 'Gift Box' of the Baemin app's 'My Baemin' section, or register them directly during the ordering process to use them. To commemorate the brand expansion, Baemin is also running a promotion until the upcoming 11th, providing a 4,000-won Baemin coupon to the first 20,000 users who order using a KakaoTalk voucher. Kim Ji-hoon, Head of the Business Division at Woowa Brothers, stated, "By expanding the brands that accept vouchers, we were able to increase voucher utilization and improve the customer experience." He added, "We will continuously improve our services to enhance customer experience as well as to boost sales for our partner merchants."
