Samsung Electronics' premium robot vacuum, the 'Bespoke AI Steam,' surpassed 20,000 units in monthly sales this past May, recording a high growth rate of approximately 60% compared to the same period last year. In particular, it gained immense popularity in the newlywed home appliance market, showing a high preference where one out of every three couples who purchased a newlywed appliance package during the same period chose this product.
The core of this achievement lies in the innovative technological capabilities offered by the 2026 Bespoke AI Steam models. The 'Bespoke AI Steam Ultra' and 'Bespoke AI Steam Plus' boast a powerful suction power of 10W, which is up to twice as improved compared to the previous generation (based on the domestic standard test results by the Korea Testing Laboratory (KTL) in January 2026, and may vary depending on the actual usage environment). Furthermore, the 'Pop-out Combo' feature drastically reduced the blind spots along walls and corners, which were previously weaknesses of robot vacuums.
Hygiene and convenience have also been significantly enhanced. It removes harmful bacteria and odors from the surface of the wet mop using 100℃ high-temperature steam, and the newly introduced auto water supply and drainage model this year solved the hassle of users having to manually fill and empty the water.
It also boasts the highest level in the industry in terms of security. Equipped with Samsung Electronics' security solutions, 'Knox Matrix' and 'Knox Vault,' it proved its safety by obtaining the highest grade (Standard+) in the Internet of Things (IoT) security certification hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA).
Samsung Electronics also provides premium services ranging from product purchase to installation, management, and after-sales service (AS). In collaboration with Samsung Electronics Logitech, it operates a one-stop service that conducts furniture rearrangement and product installation simultaneously, and over 60% of all purchasers have used this service. In addition, it provides differentiated customer support through the industry's largest network of service centers, SmartThings-based remote consultations, and visual remote consultations.
Kim Yong-hoon, Executive Vice President and Head of Samsung Electronics Korea, stated, "Surpassing 20,000 units in monthly sales of the Bespoke AI Steam robot vacuum is the result of the product's competitiveness being recognized for combining powerful cleaning performance with hygiene, security, and convenience," adding, "We will lead the popularization of AI home appliances as we receive a broad range of choices from consumers."
