Tom Lee, chairman of Ethereum (ETH) strategic reserve listed company Bitmain (BMNR) and co-founder of Fundstrat, recently presented a strong bullish outlook for Ethereum at a conference.
According to CoinDesk, Tom Lee argued, "Artificial intelligence (AI) and tokenization are driving a massive transformation in financial infrastructure, and this change could grow the value of the Ethereum network to trillions of dollars." He added, "A structural change is underway that could drive Ethereum (ETH) up to $250,000 in the future."
Citing the background for such a rise, he pointed to the structural changes within the Ethereum ecosystem. Tom Lee emphasized, "The era of the Ethereum Foundation is coming to an end. They have been reducing their influence within the network for years, and their current ETH holdings are only about 100,000 ETH. Corporate validators will replace the Foundation's position."
Finally, regarding the current market situation, he added, "Right now, bears are selling at the bottom," and "The widespread bearish sentiment in the market is actually a signal that we are at the bottom."
