On the 8th, Taihan Electric Wire announced in a regulatory filing that it has signed a contract worth approximately 140.1 billion won with the Singapore Power Authority (SP PowerAssets Limited) for the supply and installation of extra-high-voltage power cables.

[Contract Overview] • Contract Scope: Project for the supply, delivery, and installation of 400kV and 230kV class OF (Oil-Filled) power cables, auxiliary cables, and related accessories • Contract Period: June 5, 2026 – June 4, 2031 (Extendable by up to 2 years upon mutual agreement between both parties) • Contract Amount: 140,131,842,885 won

This contract amount accounts for 3.85% of Taihan Electric Wire's revenue (3,636,018,215,712 won) based on its 2025 consolidated financial statements.

The amount is valued at 117,753,893.05 Singapore dollars (SGD), which is converted into Korean won by applying the initial selling base exchange rate of Hana Bank on June 5, 2026 (1 SGD = 1,190.04 won).

According to the filing, the contract date is June 5, 2026, the date of receipt of the Letter of Award (LOA), and the company stated that the LOA has the same effect as this contract. However, Taihan Electric Wire added that some details of the contract may be subject to change depending on fluctuations in international copper prices, among other factors.
