The voting for the first-half finals of the Netizens Awards Grand Star Award category in June 2026 is heading into a last-minute showdown. Koo Chang-mo and Cho Yong-pil are maintaining a tight race for the lead, separated by a mere 50 votes.

As of 6:10 p.m. on the 8th, Koo Chang-mo is in first place with 1,307 votes (32.8%), while Cho Yong-pil is closely following in pursuit with 1,257 votes (31.6%). The two candidates account for more than 60% of the total votes, forming a two-way race.

This June vote, which serves as the first-half finals, has put the cohesion and voting momentum of the fandoms back to the test. Both stars have represented the popular music industry for a long time, making this competition hold a greater significance than a simple ranking battle.

Currently, the standings are as follows: Kim Wan-sun in 3rd place with 467 votes (11.7%), Lee Sun-hee in 4th place with 262 votes (6.6%), and Na Hoon-a in 5th place with 183 votes (4.6%). As the first-half finals pass the midway point, attention is focused on whether Koo Chang-mo will defend the lead or if Cho Yong-pil will stage a comeback.
