Actor Kim Jaewon and IVE's Rei will team up as MCs for the second day of the '3rd Korea Grand Music Awards (2026 KGMA)'.

According to the KGMA Organizing Committee on the 11th, the two will host the second day (the 8th) of the '2026 KGMA' awards ceremony, which will be held over two days on November 7th and 8th at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro-gu, Seoul. The organizing committee stated that as trending stars in their respective fields and artists who love K-pop, the two are the perfect fits to lead this festival with global fans.

Kim Jaewon recently established himself as a trending actor by leading the success of the drama 'Yumi's Cells' Season 3. Originally a model, he has been active in various works such as the dramas 'Our Blues' and 'King the Land', as well as the Netflix series 'Hierarchy'. He is also currently recognized for his stable hosting skills as an MC on KBS2's 'Music Bank', making him familiar to K-pop fans.

Rei, who debuted as a member of IVE in 2021, has expanded her musical capabilities by participating in singing and writing lyrics for multiple drama OSTs with her solid vocal skills. IVE, the group Rei belongs to, proved their powerful fandom by ranking first on domestic and international music and album charts with their songs released this year, and they are currently meeting fans around the world through their second world tour.

Now in its third year, the KGMA is a popular music awards ceremony hosted by Ilgan Sports, featuring a total lineup of artists from various sectors such as K-pop, bands, and trot, who have received immense love over the past year. Following the selection of actor Nam Jihyun and Lisenne Won as MCs for the first day, Kim Jaewon and Rei have joined for the second day, completing a fresh MC combination.

This awards ceremony is hosted by Ilgan Sports and co-organized by Creatorling, Quickwin Studio, and the KGMA Organizing Committee. Official fan voting is being conducted on the Fancast app, and detailed information such as the lineup and award categories will be revealed sequentially.
