In the June Netizens Awards, which is currently being held as the first-half finals of 2026, Hwang Young-woong is the first to have his name in the '20,000 Club,' leading the fervor of the fan vote. As of 6:20 p.m. on the 10th, Hwang Young-woong has recorded 20,643 votes (39.5%) in the Male Singer Award category, taking the lead by an overwhelming margin. He is the first among this month's Male Singer Award candidates to surpass the 20,000-vote mark. This June Netizens Awards holds great significance as it is held as the first-half finals. Because it is a stage that comprehensively evaluates the fans' support and voting power for the first half of the year, the ranking competition in each category is fiercer than usual, and the cohesion of fandoms has become more important than ever for the Male Singer Award. Currently, Chung-gil is in second place with 5,410 votes (10.3%), followed by Son Tae-jin in third place with 4,905 votes (9.4%). Subsequently, Jang Min-ho is in fourth place with 4,577 votes (8.7%), and Jin-won is in fifth place with 2,500 votes (4.8%). Enoch (2,200 votes), Park Ji-hyun (1,861 votes), Seo Young-taek (1,782 votes), Jung Dong-won (1,677 votes), and Song Min-jun (1,590 votes) are also making their presence known in the middle ranks while receiving fans' support. Since last year, Hwang Young-woong has consistently achieved strong results in major categories of the Netizens Awards, demonstrating the profound strength of his solid fandom. By entering the 20,000 Club first once again in these first-half finals, he has reaffirmed his strong base of support. However, with about 20 days left until the end of the voting, it is too early to predict the final outcome. As this is the final stage wrapping up the first half of the year, all eyes are focused on how every single vote from the fans will bring changes to the final rankings.
