Gaonchips has signed an ASIC (Application-Specific Integrated Circuit) design and development contract worth 29.6 billion won with a global AI semiconductor company. This contract is evaluated as a large-scale order, exceeding 43% of its recently reported consolidated revenue.

According to the disclosure on the 11th, the total value of this contract signed by Gaonchips is 29,608,800,000 won. This accounts for 43.22% of the company's consolidated revenue for 2025 (68,510,181,008 won).

The contracting party was identified as a global AI semiconductor company; however, detailed information such as the specific company name, main business details, and recent revenue was not disclosed upon the counterpart's request to protect trade secrets. The company set the disclosure suspension deadline for the counterparty's information as December 10, 2026. Additionally, the disclosure noted that there is no record of signing similar contracts with this client over the past three years.

The contract period is from May 29, 2026, to June 30, 2028, and the official contract (order receipt) date is June 10, 2026. Production will proceed through in-house manufacturing, and payment will be made within 30 days after the fulfillment of payment conditions, without any separate deposit or advance payment.

Regarding the exchange rate application standard, Gaonchips explained, "The contract amount was calculated by applying the first announced exchange rate on the contract drafting date of June 10, 2026, based on 19,500,000 USD." The company added, "The contract amount and period may be subject to change during the development process."
