Jusung Engineering (036930) showed a strong performance, breaking the 280,000 won mark intraday, but later turned weak as profit-taking sell orders emerged. Volatility also expanded, triggering a static Volatility Interruption (VI) during the trading session.

As of 11:40 a.m. on the 12th, Jusung Engineering is trading at 233,500 won, down 12,000 won (4.89%) from the previous day.

Driven by strong buying pressure early in the session, Jusung Engineering broke the 280,000 won level and continued its upward trend. However, burdened by the high valuation and profit-taking following a short-term surge, the stock surrendered its gains and eventually reversed course to decline.

The expanded volatility was also reflected in the indicators. According to the Korea Exchange (KRX), a static Volatility Interruption (VI) was triggered for Jusung Engineering at 10:15:31 a.m. and was lifted about two minutes later at 10:17:51 a.m. Even after the VI was triggered, the buying and selling tug-of-war continued, leading to wider fluctuations in the stock price.

Meanwhile, the domestic stock market is showing strength on the day as expectations of eased tensions between the United States and Iran have improved investor sentiment. While both the KOSPI and KOSDAQ indices are on the rise, some stocks are experiencing a consolidation phase following a short-term sharp rally.
