The group AHOF (Steven, Seo Jeong-woo, Cha Woong-gi, Jang Shuai-bo, Park Han, JL, Park Ju-won, Zi-uen, and Daisuke) has swept domestic and international charts with 'Sugar High,' a pre-release digital single from their third mini album, firing the signal flare for global success.
Released on the 12th, the new track charted on the iTunes Top Songs charts in a total of 12 countries and regions, including the Philippines, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, Canada, and Thailand. In Korea, the group also proved their strong presence by landing at 24th on the Melon HOT100 chart, a major music streaming platform.
'Sugar High' is a high-energy track that reinterprets Brazilian Funk in a K-pop style. Featuring an addictive hook and powerful performance, the song showcases a further expanded musical spectrum for AHOF, who previously explored inner emotions and growth narratives in their existing albums.
On the day of the song's release, the group launched their full-scale comeback promotions, starting with a performance on KBS2's 'Music Bank.' Following a special busking event in Busan, they have been meeting fans in person around Busan's Seomyeon and Daegu's Dongseongro areas, conducting active regional promotions and receiving enthusiastic responses.
Having signaled a successful start with their pre-release track, AHOF is now ramping up final preparations with the goal of releasing their third mini album this July.
