Singer Rothy is set to showcase her first musical step since joining her new label, EGO Group.

Rothy will release her new single 'Don't Be' on May 16 at 6 PM through various online music platforms. The single captures the emotions of someone who gradually loses themselves in love while pretending everything is fine. By combining rhythmic guitar sounds with pop rock elements, the track is expected to demonstrate her growth beyond her signature ballad-style music.

Notably, 'Don't Be' was previously pre-revealed during solo concerts and festival stages, drawing enthusiastic responses from fans and consistent requests for an official release. For the first time since her debut, Rothy directly participated in writing and composing an officially released single, expanding her musical horizons. She further elevated the song's quality through collaborations with producer HAHM and lyricist Jo Yoon-kyung.

This new track marks the first chapter of Rothy's new project 'FLAT,' which captures her journey of finding her own pace and balance. Rothy plans to sequentially release a total of four singles before unveiling an EP album that includes all of them.

Meanwhile, Rothy's new single 'Don't Be' will be available to stream from May 16 at 6 PM, and an official video will also be released simultaneously through her official YouTube channel.
