Husong (093370) reversed to a decline after surging for two consecutive sessions, triggering the Volatility Control Mechanism (VI) early in the trading day.

According to the Korea Exchange (KRX), a dynamic VI for Husong was triggered at 9:45:14 a.m. on the 16th and was lifted at 9:47:25 a.m.

As of 9:49 a.m. on the same day, Husong is trading at 19,610 won, down 2,790 won (12.46%) from the previous session. It has slipped below the 20,000-won mark intraday, showing a weak trend.

Previously, Husong had staged a steep rally. On the 12th, it closed at 19,010 won, up 3,240 won (20.55%) from the previous session, and on the 15th, it also finished at 22,400 won, surging 3,390 won (17.83%). This marked a surge of around 20% for two consecutive sessions.

However, selling pressure dominated in today's session, and the decline has continued even after the VI was lifted.

Given the expanded volatility, whether the stock will rebound while narrowing its losses or continue its downward correction will largely depend on supply and demand dynamics and investor sentiment as key variables today.
