Authorities have issued emergency traffic control and resident evacuation measures following a city gas leak in the area around Hanseong Baekje Station in Songpa-gu, Seoul.

According to Songpa-gu on the 18th, a disaster alert message was sent at 3:44 p.m. stating, "At approximately 2:50 p.m. today, a city gas leak occurred from the area near Exit 4 of Hanseong Baekje Station toward Bangi Market, and bidirectional traffic is currently being controlled."

Currently, vehicle access is completely restricted on the road section stretching from Exit 4 of Hanseong Baekje Station toward Bangi Market. Songpa-gu has requested nearby residents to evacuate to a safe location and has urged vehicles traveling through the area to use alternate routes.

Authorities are strongly urging local residents to pay special attention to safety and to actively follow on-site instructions.
