Spear (347700) is showing a sharp decline on the 18th, coinciding with the activation of the Volatility Intervention (VI) mechanism during trading.

As of 1:04 PM on the KOSDAQ market, Spear is trading at 27,600 won, down 2,400 won (8.00%) from the previous trading day. The stock had risen above the 30,000-won level early in the session but later reversed into a downtrend.

According to the Korea Exchange, a static VI was triggered for Spear at 12:46:41 PM and was lifted at 12:48:59 PM. Even after the VI activation, the decline widened, sending the stock price down to the 20,000-won range. The continued downtrend is drawing concentrated attention from investors.

Meanwhile, on the same day, the KOSPI index surpassed the 9,000 mark for the first time in history, maintaining its strong momentum. In contrast, the KOSDAQ index has fallen by more than 3%.
